Rates and Insurance

Payment at Time of Service Information: Payments at time of service rates range from $100 (60 minutes) to $150 (90 minutes). Payment can be made with cash, check, and debit/credit cards. Most HSA cards are also accepted. Need-based discounts are available on a case by case basis. Please contact Matthew for more information.

Insurance Information: Billing rates vary with insurance coverage. Matthew is a preferred provider for many insurance plans, including PacificSource, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Cigna, ODS, OEA Choice, and Western Benefits. Most other insurance plans with acupuncture benefits can also be billed by his office. He also gladly bills automobile first-party accident insurance. Copayment and coinsurance amounts vary by insurance policy and are due at time of service. For more information about your insurance benefits, contact your insurance company with the following questions:

  1. Do I have acupuncture benefits if provided by a Licensed Acupuncturist in Oregon?
  2. Does a deductible apply and if so, how much do I have remaining for this year?
  3. What is the maximum yearly plan benefit for acupuncture (codes 97810, 97811) and manual therapy (code 97140)? (Matthew employs both methods/codes.)
  4. What is my copayment or coinsurance?
